Yes, it's so ridiculous that I took down all those entries that you people purposefully plagiarized from other websites and FAQs. It was really ridiculous of those website and FAQ authors to have emailed me to complain about their work being stolen. It's also ridiculous that I took down all the fake cameos that you blatantly admitted to sending in an attempt to sabotage the site.

I know what Gaiaonline is, but he just said "Gaia", and he made it sound like Gaia is some friend of ours that will be "punished", too.

However, in the topic where this idiocy is originating from, somebody said something like, "It's too bad we can't flood this forum because it has a post-flood check, just like Gaia does*", so that may have given Slayer here the impression that he was against Gaia, too, and had previously tried to flood it.

* - And this shows you the intelligence level of what we're dealing with here. It's not like Gaiaonline is some paragon of internet message board technology. Post Flood Safety Checks have been around a lot longer than they have and pretty much ALL message boards have them now.

Also, even in the heyday of the NES Scene, board floodings were never taken seriously.

You have far more important things to worry about than an "online enemy". What's he gonna do? Flood a forum full of pointless gibberish? How hardcore of him....

And there's that issue of plagiarism again, too, which the NES Scene seems to have a huge problem with...

Now that I think about it, I wonder if the NES Scene plagiarism problem is the reason that community invented that rule that if you put a copyright notice on your work it makes it illegal for someone to copy it and claim it as their own, even though it's illegal even if you don't put a copyright notice on it.

No wonder you can't find the NESplayer forums from the website anymore. If this was what the typical Port Saiid member is like, I would hide it, too.

Another thing I forgot about until now, too... Back when the Cameos plagiarism scandal was going on, I got an email from Rey Esteban of the Video Game Museum (vgmuseum.com) telling me that someone emailed him claiming to be me and asked for permission to use stuff from his site. IIRC, he emailed me because he was suspicious when the email came from one that wasn't the one I use on my site. I imagine they probably did this to other webmasters/FAQ authors, too. So, not only were these "NES Scenesters" plagiarizing people's work, but they were telling people they were me, so that I'd get 100% of the blame when the stuff was taken without permission.

For the record, Rey did grant me permission, even though I wasn't the one who emailed him.
