I know we all love Halo and Grand Theft Auto, but what are some other, overlooked games that deserve a chance?
Devil May Cry 2 - This was the first game in the series that let you play as either of two characters right from the beginning. It also had the best story in the series. Instead of fighting some sort of devil from hell, it's a normal human who was corrupted by his desire for power. That's something you can identify with.
Buck Bumble - I don't understand why more people aren't aware of this game. You play as a bee on the N64.
Final Fantasy 7 - I was wondering if I should list this game, I know it was sort of popular a while ago, but I think that a lot of people today don't seem to realize this was the first time in America anyone got to play a Final Fantasy game.
Shadow of the Colossus - Probably the best atmosphere of any videogame ever. The settings are literally desolate and breaking. It's so beautiful, it could show that videogames can be art. The boss fights are brilliant -- finally, bosses in a videogame that require some thought!
