pissed at me for those goofy ideas I'd post. Eventually, they got used to it and actually wanted more of them, though (Except ESS, of course).

That's right, although it's technically not the first time I've had rum. I was at a party one time and didn't know the punch had rum in it
until I drank about 3 cups. I got a little giddy.

Ah, yeah, it's a bit cough-syrupy, as I guess most alcohol is. Not exactly a pleasant taste. It's kind of a challenge just to get down a finger or
two of it. It really does go best with eggnog.
Too bad FO didn't try the Southern Comfort Spiced Vanilla Eggnog. She says she "doesn't like eggnog", but I think she's only tried eggnog twice. The first kind actually had alcohol in it. The second didn't, but it did have a fake alcohol flavor. Well, we know FO doesn't like the taste of alcohol, so I think that's what she doesn't like about those two. The Southern Comfort didn't have alcohol or any phoney baloney alcohol flavor, so I think she had a chance to like it. At least we could have finally known for sure. I just get tired more than anything. Well, alcohol is a depressant. I've never gotten rip roaring drunk. I've probably drunk more alcohol in the past week than I have in a long, long time (I drained the .75 L thing of Captain Morgan's by about two-thirds in that time, though some relatives might have had a little from it on Christmas, too) On the other hand, that probably also means my tolerance is low. I think I feel a little giddy / slightly less inhibited at first, then tired. |
