I don't even know if I would. If I had a sketch like that and it was pretty much done, I'd probably just want to hurry up and get it posted. A lot of game reviews and comics come across to me as being rushed to completion and posted as quickly as possible. But when you put extra thought and care into something, it really pays off. |

I now put all sketches and reviews through several rewrites before posting them.(You could probably tell I didn't usually do rewrites on my old
crappagory reviews.) Sometimes, in the cases of the sketches, the final result ends up changing almost completely from the original version.
I don't think most people on the internet really care to write better because they don't feel they have to. The #1 response you'll get to that
argument is, "It's only the internet. It's not an English
class!"
What is up with people making typos in webcomic dialogue? You have to draw the thing, then ink it, and then I assume read it after you've got it up on
your site...shouldn't you at some point notice you have a "than" instead of a "the" or the wrong variation of "your", etc.?

The worst was what he did to me. I was working on a dissertation, and was almost done. But then Lizeth Marry emailed me and told me to delete my hard drive.

Because I didn't see the point in leaving them there if that's how people are going to react to them. On the other hand, if I had been in charge of the Game Pond, I would not have deleted Sethra's pictures. It's one thing for a person to decide to remove their own posts, but it's a whole other thing for an admin/mod to remove a picture just because someone else complains about it. |
